Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to lead the design and development of security, virtualization, confidential compute and trusted execution environment features for next‑generation Qualcomm SoCs.

This role blends hardware and software leadership, focusing on RISC‑V architecture, and requires guiding architecture decisions, enabling new hardware features, and contributing upstream to OpenSBI, KVM and the Linux kernel with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience in Linux KVM or Linux kernel/TEE development.
• Strong understanding of virtualization, confidential compute and trusted execution environments.
• Proficiency with debugging tools (ftrace, perf, kgdb, crash, kernel logs).
• Experience with Git, GitHub or GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architecture and development of security, virtualization, confidential compute and TEE features.
• Drive upstream contributions to OpenSBI, KVM and Linux kernel.
