Job summary

Penalty Box Bar & Grill in Salem, NH, is hiring a Full-Time Counter Help / Cashier inside the Ice Center. No restaurant experience is required—we will train you. Must be 18+ to serve alcohol and join a fast-paced, family-run rink environment.

Greet guests, take orders, handle payments, serve food and beverages, and assist with light prep. You’ll help with events and keep dining and prep areas clean while delivering top-notch hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to serve alcohol.
• Positive, reliable, customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enjoys fast-paced environments.
• Able to stand and move during shifts.
• Full-time availability including weekdays, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders with a friendly attitude.
• Run the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Serve food and assist with light prep.
• Serve draft/canned beverages (18+ required).
• Maintain clean dining and prep areas.
• Stock supplies and restock as needed.
• Assist with birthday parties and rink events.
• Deliver outstanding hospitality and team support.
