Job summary

Penalty Box Bar & Grill in Salem, NH, is hiring a full-time Counter Help / Cashier to join our fast-paced rinkside team inside the Ice Center. You’ll greet guests, take orders, handle the cash register, and help with light prep while maintaining a friendly, high-energy atmosphere.

No restaurant experience is required—we will train. You must be 18+ to serve alcoholic beverages. Enjoy free meals on shift, weekly tip sharing, and growth opportunities within a family-run hockey community.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+.
• Positive, reliable, customer-focused attitude.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.
• Enjoys fast-paced environments.
• Able to stand and move during shifts.
• Full-time availability — mix of weekdays, nights & weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests & take orders with a friendly attitude.
• Run the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Serve food and assist with light prep.
• Serve draft/canned beverages (18+ required).
• Maintain clean dining & prep areas.
• Stock supplies, assist with inventory & restocking.
• Help with birthday parties & rink events.
• Deliver outstanding hospitality and team support.
