Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience operating small tractors and mowers, with the ability to follow directions and maintain accurate work

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED plus related experience.
  • At least 1 year operating small tractors and mowers.

Responsibilities

  • Operates light duty equipment such as bush hogs, tiger mowers, and tractors.
  • Performs daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Safely navigate and work around traffic, slopes, ditches, and uneven landscape.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to plan routes and prioritize areas needing attention.
  • Cut right-of-ways throughout city and county.
  • Maintain accurate reports of work completed, and equipment usage.
  • Reports malfunctions of equipment to the supervisor.
  • Performs traffic control when assigned.
  • Notes and reports malfunctions of equipment to the proper authority.
  • Performs other duties as required.
