Job summary
The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) in Elko, NV seeks a Supervisor 2, Associate Engineer to oversee the Right-of-Way and Utilities section in District 3. This on-site role requires travel up to 50% and may include alternate shifts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field and two years of professional engineering experience; OR Engineering Intern with two years of professional engineering experience; OR two years in related supervisory level.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering functions across projects and programs.
- Supervise staff and organize personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Prepare and review technical reports, recommendations, and agreements.
- Communicate concepts and calculations to team members and stakeholders.
- Manage project/program cost estimates and maintain records.
- Travel up to 50% and coordinate with agencies, utilities, and contractors.
