American Structurepoint, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Right of Way Technician to support the Land Surveying group. The role will assist a Professional Surveyor in preparing plats, legal descriptions, and right-of-way documents, leveraging CAD and GIS tools.

Candidates should have 2+ years of ROW experience, familiarity with INDOT standards, and strong communication and writing skills. Proficiency with Civil3D and AutoCAD is required; MicroStation and GIS knowledge are a plus.

Competenze

2+ years of experience as Right of Way Technician or surveyor-in-training.
Strong familiarity with INDOT Right-of-Way Engineering manual and standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Trimble Business Center and GIS is a plus.

Mansioni

Preparation of Location Control Route Survey Plats
Review of title and encumbrance reports
Preparation of Right of Way Parcel Plats (Exhibit A) and Legal Descriptions (Exhibit B)
Preparation of additional Right of Way Engineering documents and area computations
Right of Way Plan Development
Process field data into topographic surveys (a plus)
Analyze record documents and establish layout property lines, alignments, and easements
Download LiDAR, aerial photography and GIS data from public sources
Other duties as assigned
