Contract Land Staff, LLC is seeking experienced Right of Way Agents to support field investigations in Clarksburg, WV. You will gather information for land values, permits, crop data, and route concerns, operating with minimal supervision and serving as a regulatory and negotiation expert.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–3+ years of Right of Way experience.
• Must be local to Clarksburg, WV.
• Prior Transmission experience is a plus!
• Associate degree or two years of college and two plus years of Right of Way experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in interpretation of documents and in the use of tools required in the Right-of-Way field.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain vehicle insurance.

Responsabilités

• Contact landowners regarding acquisition of real property rights and settlements.
• Negotiate property purchases and analyze appraisals for client recommendations.
• Represent the client in negotiations with landowners and attorneys.
• Advise client on whether to pursue condemnation litigation.
• Prepare lawsuit packages and serve as an expert witness if needed.
• Move between locations to meet timelines and adapt to schedules.
