Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists line crews with construction of power lines by cutting right-of-way; reads maps to locate work sites.
• Maintains right-of-way by trimming trees around energized lines.
• Operates chain saws and chipper equipment to remove vegetation.
• Operates tractor, bush hogs and other equipment for right-of-way maintenance.
• Maintains a safe working environment by following policies, procedures and regulations.
• May be required to apply vegetation control materials requiring certification in hazardous materials.
