Responsibilities

  • Work with riggers in dry docking and launching operations.
  • Direct crane operations and signaling to control loads.
  • Determine gear placement to keep loads secure and balanced.
  • Perform spot checks to ensure rigging methods and safety practices.
  • Use protective equipment and clothing for assigned tasks.
  • Assist Journeymen Riggers in installation, removal, and repositioning of machinery.
