Job summary

Solotech in Orlando, FL is seeking a skilled AVL rigging professional to join our live production team. The role involves coordinating with project management, site supervision, and AV crews to install equipment on-site, interpreting complex structural drawings, and ensuring all work aligns with industry and Solotech safety standards.

A minimum of five years in AVL rigging is required, with ETCP and forklift credentials considered assets.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• ETCP Certification is preferred and an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of AVL rigging experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with PM, Site Supervisor, and AV team on installation.
• Interpret complex structural and attachment drawings.

Your day will look like this:

• Coordinate with PM, Site Supervisor, and AV team on installation.
• Interperate complex structural and attachment drawings.
• Safely perform work to industry and Solotech standards.

Your profile:

• ETCP Certification
• Other industry certifications (an asset)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an AVL rigging
• Knowledge of basic electrical, schematic reading, basic math skills, and a mechanical understanding of gearing
• Knowledge of different Hoist manufacturers
• Be able to lift loads
• Flexible work schedule
• Valid forklift license (an asset)
• Great attention to detail
• Able to work independently as well as with a team
• Ability to work under pressure and ability to adapt to change
