Job summary

Solotech Inc. is seeking an experienced AVL Rigging Technician to join our Orlando team. You will coordinate with the project manager, site supervisor and AV crew to install systems and ensure safety and compliance.

The role demands hands-on rigging expertise, the ability to read structural drawings, lift loads, and adapt to fast-paced environments on construction sites. Travel is frequent and flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• ETCP Certification
• Other industry certifications (an asset)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an AVL rigging
• Knowledge of basic electrical, schematic reading, basic math skills, and a mechanical understanding of gearing
• Knowledge of different Hoist manufacturers
• Be able to lift loads
• Flexible work schedule
• Valid forklift license (an asset)
• Great attention to detail
• Able to work independently as well as with a team
• Ability to work under pressure and ability to adapt to change
