Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Project Manager - Rigging Planning to coordinate overhead rigging, sign hanging, and electrical needs for produced events. This in-house role supports estimating and technical drawings, and may require show-site presence. The position is part of Unified Rigging on the Audio Visual Production team, with a hybrid schedule (2–3 days in-office/show-site).

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in overhead rigging. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years experience in Overhead Rigging preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; proficient with Google Sheets & Google Docs.
• Familiarity with exposition work tickets and local union jurisdictions preferred.
• ETCP Arena Rigger certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains show files/show kits with required documentation.
• Engineers rigging and fulfills overhead work orders enterprise-wide.
• Gathers client specifications and enters into appropriate systems.
• Creates engineered rigging drawings with point loads and paperwork.
• Assists with creating estimates for clients.
• Develops training materials for Project Manager – Rigging Logistics.
