Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Project Manager - Rigging Planning to coordinate overhead rigging, sign hanging, and electrical needs for produced events. This in-house role supports estimating and technical drawings, with occasional on-site assistance; a hybrid schedule is expected 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years experience in Overhead Rigging preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Proficient with Google Sheets & Google Docs.
• Familiarity with exposition work tickets preferred.
• Familiarity with local union jurisdictions and rules preferred.
• Technical overhead rigging training required.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains show files/show kits to ensure documentation.
• Engineers rigging and fulfills orders for overhead work enterprise wide.
• Gathers specifications from clients and enters into systems.
• Creates engineered rigging drawings with point loads and paperwork.
• Assists with creating estimates for clients.
• Create training material for Project Manager – Rigging Logistics.
• Prepares hand-off packages for show site personnel.
