Lee Industrial Contracting in Pontiac, Michigan, is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager with 7+ years in rigging or millwright trades to join our team. The role blends estimating with project execution, site visits, and coordination with sales and field personnel.

You will prepare detailed take-offs, review subcontractor proposals, manage safety and scheduling, and help select vendors. Travel about 25% is expected; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

7+ years in rigging or millwright trades with hands-on field experience.
Willingness to travel ~25% locally and out of state.
Ability to read single-line drawings, blueprints and specs.
Strong communication and organizational skills, in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

Attend site visits and develop accurate scope of work.
Prepare labor and material take-offs; review supplier proposals for bids.
Coordinate with Sales and field teams; finalize scope with estimators.
Manage equipment, material and manpower; attend project meetings.
Review pricing, select vendors/subcontractors, and issue purchase orders.
Assist with billing and invoices; on-site as required.
Ensure safety protocols and communicate project requirements to field personnel daily.
