Job summary

Lifting-Gear-Hire-Corp in Troy, MI is seeking a mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to keep our rental hoisting and rigging equipment ready for use. You will inspect orders, disassemble, repair, reassemble and test equipment, and perform routine preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, transporting orders safely, and meeting our quality standards. A high school diploma is required, a valid driver's license, and DOT certification will be supported by LGH;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Hand and power tool experience desired.
• Experience working on air hoists, comealongs, manual hoists, electric hoists or other rigging equipment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and conduct inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test various types of equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load and unload delivery vehicles and transport equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and promptly.
