Job summary

LGH GmbH, located in Troy, MI, is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to maintain rental equipment and ensure its immediate availability for safe use. The role involves inspecting orders, disassembling and testing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic gear, and performing preventive maintenance.

You will operate a forklift, load and unload deliveries, and travel by company vehicle to transport orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools helpful.
• Experience on air hoists, comealongs, manual/electric hoists or rigging equipment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and conduct inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hand-operated, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and timely.
