Job summary

LGH is seeking a mechanically inclined maintenance technician in Savage, MD to ensure rental equipment is ready and safe for use. You will inspect, disassemble, repair and test equipment, perform preventive maintenance, operate a forklift, and transport orders as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and potential DOT certification. Regular hours are Mon–Fri, with occasional overtime and a starting pay of $24/hour.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred, automotive or heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools is desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspect for quality and safety.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and on time.
