Snelling is seeking a mechanically inclined Rigging Assembler for a Louisville, KY manufacturing operation. The role involves assembling, installing, disassembling, and preparing industrial machinery for projects, with a hands-on focus and emphasis on safety.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical experience, the ability to read instructions and drawings, and a willingness to work on a 1st shift (Mon–Thu, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.).

Qualifikationen

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools and machinery.
• Previous experience in mechanical assembly, machine building, equipment installation, maintenance, or a related manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position Overview

Snelling is seeking a mechanically inclined Rigging Assembler for a manufacturing company in Louisville, KY. This hands‑on position involves assembling, installing, disassembling, and preparing industrial machinery and equipment for various projects.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, understands mechanical systems, and can use tools and equipment to put machinery together and take it apart. This is a great opportunity for someone with a mechanical background who is looking to build their skills and advance within a growing operation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and disassemble industrial machinery and equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete mechanical assembly work.
• Assist with rigging, positioning, and moving machinery as needed.
• Read and follow instructions, drawings, and assembly procedures.
• Identify mechanical issues and assist with troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
• Work alongside team members to complete projects safely and meet production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with additional manufacturing and assembly duties as needed.

• Comfortable working on your feet for 9–10-hour shifts.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed to meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or trade school training is a plus.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment physical, physical demand screen, drug screen, and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
