Job Summary:

This role involves rigging and the movement of heavy machinery within the yard to facilitate assembly of generator units. Attention to detail, safety, and communication are essential. Opportunities to rotate into other roles such as Engine or Tank preparation are available. We are growing and expanding—be part of our team!

Who You Are:

• Strong communication skills and awareness of others during movement
• Ability to work under pressure and stay calm
• Skilled in driving a forklift
• Good math skills and ability to read a tape measure
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision
• Capable of lifting and pushing 50 lbs
• Able to work in all weather conditions

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare shackles for lifting
• Operate lifts and work at heights with harnesses
• Load units onto transport trucks using proper rigging
• Maintain clear communication with crane operators
• Follow safety guidelines and collaborate on installation adjustments
• Install generator and fuel system components

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with rigging and crane operation
• Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Effective time management and adaptability
• Ability to wear PPE and maintain a safe work environment
• Reliable attendance and respectful attitude
