Job summary

STARCON INTERNATIONAL in Morris, Illinois seeks a Rigger I responsible for rigging equipment or materials to be lifted and installed safely, working closely with all crafts.

The position supports training and certification progress to enable advancement, with exposure to outdoor conditions and required PPE in an industrial facility.

Pay is $41.00 per hour with a $120 per diem for qualified team members.

Job Description

TheRigger I is responsible for the rigging of equipment or materials to be lifted and installed in a safe manner. The Rigger I will work closely with all crafts to ensure that proper techniques and rigging equipment are utilized.

TheRigger I shall work until the appropriate time has occurred that the necessary knowledge and experience, by testing and certification, have been met to enable the Rigger I to advance.

STARCON is a merit shop contractor supporting a team working environment. As such, all team members will be required from time to time to perform other duties that they are qualified to perform, outside of this job description and their normal work function.

The normal work environment will be in an industrial facility where exposure to outdoor weather conditions is possible and where proper PPE is required for a variety of potential hazards.
