Matrix Service Inc is seeking Rigger Helpers to join their team in Republic, Washington. These individuals will assist Journeyman Riggers with the preparation, installation, and operation of rigging gear and equipment. The role involves travel, hands‑on work with lifting devices, and a focus on safety. Ideal candidates are experienced in construction, safety‑conscious, and able to work in physically demanding environments.

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years construction experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Understanding of load capacity charts and lifting criteria
• Ability to determine lift weights and center of gravity
• Knowledge of crane hand signals
• Ability to measure and assess plumbness, levelness, alignment
• Minimum score of 70% on Riggers Skills Test or 60% on NCCER certification
• General knowledge of basic hand tools
• Knowledge of safety monitoring equipment and completion of safety training
• Active status in DISA drug testing program
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to travel and work frequent overtime
• Ability to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces
• Physical ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
