Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking an on-site Rigger to perform rigging, signaling, and load control for heavy lifts on wind projects and heavy haul operations. You will assist with crane assembly, gantry systems, and hydraulic equipment, and help transport gear to diverse field sites.

Ideal candidates bring mechanical aptitude, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a willingness to work outdoors on varied schedules. CDL Class A, TWIC, and a rigger certification are preferred.

What You Bring

Required:

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Experience in rigging, construction, farmhand, or heavy equipment

• CDL Class A (or ability to obtain)

• Rigger certification or TWIC card

Additional Expectations:

• Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed

• Willingness to travel occasionally for field work

Work Environment

• 40–50+ hours per week with overtime potential

• Travel-heavy role supporting job sites as needed
