Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a hands-on Rigger to perform rigging, signaling, and load control for heavy lifts on wind farm and heavy haul projects across the country.

You will assist with crane assembly, gantry systems, and hydraulic equipment, inspect and prepare gear, and help transport equipment. This role offers in-field, outdoor work with potential travel and overtime.

What You Bring

Required:

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem‑solving skills

Preferred:

• Experience in rigging, construction, farmhand, or heavy equipment


• CDL Class A (or ability to obtain)


• Rigger certification or TWIC card

Additional Expectations:

• Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed


• Willingness to travel occasionally for field work

Work Environment

• 40–50+ hours per week with overtime potential


• Travel‑heavy role supporting job sites as needed
