Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Driver/Rigger to support daily crane operations, including setup, rigging, and job site execution. You will haul counterweights and equipment between yard and job sites, assist with crane assembly and breakdown, and perform rigging, signaling, and load control during lifts on projects involving large industrial equipment.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a safety-first culture, competitive pay with weekly schedule, a 401(k) match up

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Experience in rigging or heavy equipment environments.
• Experience with over-dimensional or heavy haul transport.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
• Flexibility to work in the field and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support daily crane operations, including setup, rigging, and job site execution.
• Haul counterweights and equipment between yard and job sites.
• Assist with crane assembly and breakdown.
• Perform rigging, signaling, and load control during lifts.
• Work on projects involving AC units, transformers, and industrial equipment.
• Operate in a mix of truck driving and on-site rigging work.
