Job summary

Barnhart Energy Company is seeking a Rigger to perform rigging, signaling, and load control for heavy lifts on major projects across the country. You will assist with crane assembly, gantry systems, and hydraulic equipment, supporting wind projects and heavy haul operations.

Expect to inspect and prepare rigging gear, help with equipment transport, and work both in the field and on dynamic project sites. A strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and flexibility for travel are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in a hands-on environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work.
• Flexibility for varying schedules, travel and overtime.
• Preferred: rigging, construction, farmhand or heavy equipment experience.
• CDL Class A or ability to obtain.
• Rigger certification or TWIC card.
• Able to work day/night shifts, weekends or holidays.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for field work.
