Ashley Sling, a division of American Equipment Holdings, is seeking a Rigger Fabricator to join our team on-site. You will fabricate and assemble lifting and rigging products, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure products meet quality standards.

Work closely with experienced staff, learn on-the-job skills, and contribute to global projects across multiple industries. Proof of right to work in the United States is required and we are an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience fabricating and distributing lifting and rigging equipment in industrial settings.
• Expertise with slings (nylon, polyester), wire rope, lifting devices, rigging hardware, hoists, synthetic ropes, and tie-downs.
• Strong understanding of materials used in lifting and rigging and related properties.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for lifting and rigging equipment.
• Ability to operate fabricating equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail; strong teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate and assemble lifting and rigging products including slings, wire ropes, devices, hardware, protection solutions, hoists, ropes, and tie-downs.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements for accurate fabrication.
• Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabricating equipment and tools.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products for customer orders.
• Review drawings, blueprints, and capacity tables to plan production.
• Understand and apply codes and specifications as indicated on order tickets.
• Calculate wire rope cut lengths, fitting requirements and identify appropriate equipment to produce rope and chain assemblies.
• Splice wire rope and fabricate chain slings.
• Operate swaging machines, proof testing machines, and forklifts (training provided).
• Attach proper tags and labels to products.
• Report defective or substandard material or product; maintain a clean and safe work area.
