Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. is seeking a full-time Rigger Driver to support crane operations in Midland, Texas. The candidate will assist the crane operator, rig loads, secure equipment, and drive to job sites while adhering to safety and environmental policies.

Requirements include a CDL Class A license and 1–3 years of rigging and commercial driving experience, with emphasis on safe lifting, daily truck inspections, and reliable payroll timesheet reporting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of heavy haul experience.
• Current state issued CDL Class A Driver’s License.
• 1–3 years of rigging and commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the crane operator in proper equipment set-up.
• Assist in maintenance of the crane and accessory equipment.
• Perform proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting.
• Use proper hand signals during crane operations.
• Secure equipment to the trailer before operation.
• Inspect truck and trailer; complete truck inspection report.
• Report mechanical defects in writing to supervisor.
• Monitor inventory of chains, boomer, and straps; report missing equipment.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain chains, boomer, and straps.
• Document and turn in maintenance on the equipment.
• Clean outside and cab area of assigned vehicle daily.
• Monitor annual state inspection and license plates; report expiration 1 month prior.
• Report to Dispatcher after task for next assignment.
• Review next day job assignments and prepare rigging/equipment.
• Complete payroll timesheet; hours reported to branch by 10:00 am Monday.
• If not on assignment, inform supervisor and stay productive by cleaning/inspecting.
• Carry and answer phone promptly.
• Periodically review manuals for assigned crane models.
• Clean, inspect, and reorganize equipment in shop/yard; clean shop, wash rack and break room.
• Other duties as assigned.
