Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of heavy haul experience.
• 1–3 years of rigging and commercial driving experience.
• Must have a current state-issued CDL Class A driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist crane operator with equipment setup and rigging to ensure safe lifts.
• Maintain crane and equipment, including trucks, trailers, and accessories.
• Use proper rigging techniques and hand signals during operations.
• Secure equipment to trailers and perform daily truck inspections.
• Log maintenance and repairs, monitor inventory of chains and slings.
• Clean, inspect, and organize shop and yard; monitor state inspections.
• Record hours, submit payroll timesheets by the weekly deadline.
• Report to dispatcher after tasks; prepare tools for next assignment.
• Answer phones promptly and assist supervision as needed.
• Follow safety and environmental policies on job sites.
