Job summary

The Morrison team seeks a capable rigger to support crane operations onshore and offshore in Houma, LA. You will assist with hoisting activities, signaling, bolt-ups, hydro testing, and load attachment using proper rigging practices.

Expect hands-on work, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with crane operators, blaster/painters, and maintenance crews to keep equipment and projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Rigger certification must be obtained.
• Minimum 1 year rigging experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist off-loading boats inshore and offshore.
• Assist with bolt-ups and hydro testing.
• Assist Blaster/Painters when needed.
• Attach rigging to different loads and equipment.
• Perform hand signals to crane operators.
• Knowledge of lifts methods and types of tackle used for lifting.
• Ability to determine tackle used for lifts and its lifting capacity.
• Keep all work areas clean at all times.
