Beaumont-based Allegiance Crane & Equipment is seeking NCCCO or NCCER certified Riggers for a full-time position in Beaumont, TX. We offer a strong team culture and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities include directing hoisting crews, connecting pulley systems, dismantling and inspecting rigging gear, testing rigging, and applying proper rigging techniques with hand signals to ensure safety. Requires 1 year of rigging experience, a valid driver’s license, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• NCCCO or NCCER certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum 1 year prior experience rigging cranes or similar equipment.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
• Professional communication skill to be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.

• Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps

• Utilize proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load, including hand signals for the safe operation of the crane.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, stoop, climb, and move about shop and equipment.
• Heavy physical effort required.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lb.
• Will regularly be exposed to noise, heat, dust, and fumes around job sites and yard.
• Extreme weather conditions possible, at times.
• Must be able to drive a vehicle for local travel.
