Job summary

FRONTIER RIGGING & MOVERS in El Paso, Texas is seeking an experienced Rigger to assist with safe lifting, moving, and positioning of heavy machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of rigging techniques and safety procedures.

The position requires coordination with crane operators, a focus on safety, and the ability to lift heavy materials. Certification in rigging and OSHA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a rigger.
• Knowledge of rigging methods and load limits.
• Ability to read lift plans and blueprints preferred.
• Physically able to lift heavy materials and work in industrial environments.
• Must wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rigging equipment (slings, chains, shackles, hooks).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Rigger to assist with the safe lifting, moving, and positioning of heavy machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of rigging techniques, load calculations, and safety procedures. Furthermore, Frontier Rigging & Movers performs twin plant maintenance which includes but not limited to: welding skills, knowledge of basic electricity, knowledge of handling tools: grinder, drills, saw saw, circular saw, etc

Responsibilities

• Inspect rigging equipment (slings, chains, shackles, hooks)
• Secure loads for lifting and moving
• Work with crane operators and crew to safely position loads
• Follow OSHA and site safety regulations
• Communicate clearly using hand signals or radios
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements

• Proven experience as a rigger
• Knowledge of rigging methods and load limits
• Ability to read lift plans and blueprints (preferred)
• Physically able to lift heavy materials and work in industrial environments
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (preferred)
• Must wear required PPE

Preferred Qualifications

• NCCCO or other rigging certification
• Experience with industrial machinery, steel, or construction projects
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Descripción del Puesto

Se busca Rigger con experiencia para asegurar, levantar y mover maquinaria y equipo pesado de forma segura. El candidato ideal tiene conocimiento de técnicas de rigging, cálculos de carga y normas de seguridad. Además, Frontier Rigging & Movers realiza el mantenimiento de plantas industriales, lo que incluye, entre otras cosas: habilidades de soldadura, conocimientos básicos de electricidad y conocimientos sobre el manejo de herramientas (amoladora, taladros, sierra de calar, sierra circular, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Inspeccionar equipo de rigging (eslingas, cadenas, grilletes, ganchos)
• Asegurar cargas para levantamiento y traslado
• Coordinar con operadores de grúa y el equipo
• Cumplir con normas de seguridad y OSHA
• Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y segura

Requisitos

• Experiencia comprobable como rigger
• Conocimiento de métodos de rigging y límites de carga
• Capacidad física para trabajo pesado
• Certificación OSHA (preferible)
• Uso obligatorio de EPP
