Palacios Marine & Industrial Coatings, Inc. seeks a qualified Rigger to safely prepare, attach and guide loads during lifting operations using cranes, hoists and other equipment.

The role emphasizes strict safety practices and teamwork in an industrial setting on our Louisiana site. The successful candidate will inspect rigging gear, select appropriate hardware, read lift plans, and coordinate with crane operators to ensure loads are moved accurately and safely while complying with OSHA

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in industrial, construction, or marine rigging preferred.
• NCCER Rigger Certification preferred.
• Ability to read lift plans and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of rigging hardware, slings, load charts, and lifting practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Description

We are seeking a qualified Rigger to join our team. The Rigger is responsible for safely preparing, attaching, and guiding loads during lifting and moving operations using cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in an industrial or construction environment.

Requirements
