Job summary

Axis Energy Services is seeking a Rig Tool Pusher/Field Supervisor to lead the workover rig crew at the Andrews, TX facility. You will manage daily rig production and coordinate with operations management and customers to meet job requirements.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, experience as Rig Operator, and a valid CDL. You’ll ensure safety, SOP adherence, and timely reporting while coordinating with crews and subcontractors on customer sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Minimum two (2) years of Tool Pusher/Field Supervisor workover rig experience.
• Minimum five (5) years proven experience as a Rig Operator.
• CDL class A/B is a plus; valid license and clean MVR required.
• Must be able to work a varied rotational schedule and travel.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with Field Service Coordinators and Director of Operations on customer status and crew performance.
• Receive and implement job orders from operations management.
• Communicate job and scheduling status with district Sales Representative.
• Effectively communicate the job schedule and status to the customer.
• Ensure crew members clock-in/out in payroll system and approve time and tickets.
• Review and process crew hours and field tickets for Operations Management.
• Ensure Rig Operator has all information to perform to customer specifications.
• Monitor and evaluate Rig Operator and crew performance.
• Support quality and performance programs and safety policies.
• Ensure effective crew communications and assist in issue resolution with customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and communicate with Director of Operations.
• Assist Corporate Recruiter in crew recruitment.
• Review and prepare incident reports and problem reports.
• Manage equipment maintenance and communicate needs to Ops and Equipment Mgmt.
• Report safety or environmental issues to HSE Management.
• Adhere to SOPs and safety policies; meet customer expectations.
