Jobot is seeking a California-licensed Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco office, focusing on rideshare and UM/UIM defense matters. The role requires 4–5 years of civil litigation experience and offers substantial responsibility with direct client contact.

The position is on-site with hybrid remote options in San Francisco, offering mentorship, a partnership track, and comprehensive benefits as part of a collaborative, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license required.
• 4+ years of civil litigation experience preferred.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions; taking/defending depositions.
• Prior insurance defense, rideshare, or UM/UIM experience strongly preferred.
• Strong writing, analytical, and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle rideshare and UM/UIM defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Manage court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and motion practice.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial strategy and litigation support.
• Communicate directly with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and experts.
• Provide timely case evaluations, reporting, and litigation updates.
