Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is seeking a Rides Control Technician to maintain electrical/electronic systems on attractions. You will troubleshoot, upgrade, and inspect controls to maximize ride uptime and safety while supporting a safe guest experience.

Responsibilities include diagnosing PLCs, programming drives, and completing ride documentation. Candidates should have strong electrical knowledge, be able to work at heights, and meet all safety requirements.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of related experience in an industrial environment.
Electrical/electronic knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Understand operation of amusement rides from simple start/stop circuits to PLC controllers.
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ride electrical/electronic systems.
These systems include power distribution up to 600 volts and PLCs.
Program VFDs and DC controllers on rides.
Complete green tagging procedures and ride inspections while following safety standards.
Maintain documentation for each ride and communicate with leadership.
Ensure safe work environment and high level of guest service.
