Lime is hiring a Marketing & Content Specialist to join our team in the United States! In this role, you will report to the Global Manager of Content Development. You will be responsible for creating engaging, informative, and inspirational marketing content, with a strong focus on rider communications that drive engagement and retention. You will support the coordination and execution of local content and brand marketing campaigns/activations, helping us build a mission-driven brand that riders love and cities trust.

Lime is at an exciting inflection point as we scale rapidly toward our next stage of growth. As we expand our category leadership, we need a content specialist who can craft compelling narratives that resonate with both riders and city stakeholders, while maintaining our brand voice across diverse US markets. This specialist should be adept at creating content that drives engagement and supports local marketing initiatives that increase ridership, brand loyalty and brand lovey. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in fast-paced, high-growth settings and can deliver consistent, high-quality content while meeting tight deadlines. In this role, you will help implement systems that enable our team to move quickly while maintaining quality and efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact as we build the foundation for long-term success.

We are a remote-first company! For this role, we prioritize candidates located in or near our existing team hubs (New York, San Francisco, San Diego, Denver, Chicago and DC Area) to support our collaborative working dynamic. Candidates in these priority areas will be given preference, though we remain open to exceptional talent throughout the United States.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop compelling copy and content that increases brand awareness and builds loyalty

  • Work with Global Manager of Content Development to develop Lime's US brand voice and content guidelines

  • Ideate, create and localize marketing content for US markets, ensuring cultural nuance and consistent brand tone across all rider communications (emails, in-app messaging, push notifications, SMS, and other direct customer touchpoints)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Creative, Rider Growth, Local Operations, and other teams to align content with business needs and ensure cohesive, localized messaging

  • Support planning and execution of local and global marketing, influencer and PR campaigns, serving as the daily point of contact

  • Nurture existing partnerships and identify opportunities for collaboration with new, like-minded local brands and organizations

About you:

  • 2-3 years of experience in copywriting and content development with a DTC or lifestyle brand, either in-house or agency side.

  • Master of multiple writing styles - ability to adapt writing style depending on audience (riders, city officials) and channel (owned, paid) with ease

  • Experience developing and executing effective rider/customer communication strategies across multiple channels that drive user engagement and retention

  • Collaborative, creative and detail-oriented

  • Proven ability to work autonomously, with a get-it-done attitude

  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and their specific uses, from formats to technical constraints

  • Some experience and aptitude with AI tools to help develop and scale work

Preferred Experience/ Qualifications

  • High-energy, confident, driven and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience coming up with campaigns, content and activations to drive engagement and brand love

  • Experience using analytics/data to make content decisions and optimize results
