Job summary

Family Entertainment Group (FEG) is seeking a Ride Technician in San Francisco to ensure safe, reliable operation of rides and attractions, perform inspections, and uphold the highest safety standards. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, maintain logs, support ride testing, and assist with installations while delivering a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 1+ year in mechanical, electrical, or maintenance roles (amusement/ride experience preferred).
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and safety guidelines.
• Strong safety orientation and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on rides and attractions to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs in partnership with the Technical Manager or General Manager.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement timely solutions.
• Ensure all rides meet safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and compliance documentation.
• Assist with ride testing, startup, and shutdown procedures.
• Communicate operational issues, safety concerns, and repair needs promptly to leadership.
• Support ride installations, refurbishments, and upgrades as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of ride areas, mechanical rooms, and workspaces.
• Assist guests with ride-related concerns in a professional and guest-focused manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to protect guests, team members, and company assets.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
