Job summary

Scheels in Johnstown, CO is hiring an Attraction Operator for our ride operations. You will ensure safety, guide guests, and handle payments while maintaining a friendly, customer-focused experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent or related experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to sit, stand, bend and climb with/without accommodation < 140 chars)

Responsibilities

• Operates the attraction according to safety guidelines and company procedures
• Knowledgeable of control, loading, balancing, safety, and emergency operating procedures
• Maintain full attention on the attraction operation when it is moving
• Informs customers to fasten belt and bar and ensure secure before starting ride
• Direct customers on entry/exit of the attraction safely
• Monitor equipment and report safety or mechanical issues immediately
• Keep area clean and free from debris and spills
• Collect and process payments from customers
