Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Meridian, ID is seeking an Attraction Operator to help guests enjoy a safe, memorable experience. You will monitor the ride, enforce safety guidelines, assist customers with entering and exiting, and keep the area clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent, or up to three months of related experience or training.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk and hear.

Responsibilities

• Operates attraction according to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Knowledgeable of control, loading, balancing, safety, and emergency operating procedures.
• Maintain full attention on attraction operation when moving.
• Informs customers to fasten belt and bar and ensure they are secure before starting the ride.
• Direct customers on entry/exit of the attraction safely.
• Monitor equipment and report safety or mechanical issues immediately.
• Keep the area clean and free from debris and spills.
• Collect and process payments from customers.
