Job summary

Adventureland Park is seeking a Ride Operator (18+) to welcome guests, comply with safety regulations, and operate park attractions. You will inspect rides, test operations, answer guest inquiries, enforce height/age requirements, and help manage loading areas to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Training, including iROC certification, is provided. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is required. No prior experience needed.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirement.
• No previous experience is required.
• Successful completion of the iROC course is required (training provided at no cost).

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a fun and professional manner.
• Follow all safety regulations and park policies.
• Operate and supervise assigned ride or attraction.
• Conduct morning inspections and test rides before opening.
• Answer guest questions and maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Ensure proper height, weight, or age restrictions.
• Manage guest flow and loading platform safety.
• Issue directions via microphone and use communication devices as needed.
• Check safety restraints and respond promptly in emergencies.
• Complete opening and closing procedures for rides and report issues promptly.
