Job summary

Worlds of Fun is seeking a Ride Mechanic to maintain park rides and support mechanical equipment. You will inspect, repair, and lubricate components, using blueprints and a variety of tools, while ensuring safe operation and timely maintenance.

The role requires 2–4 years in commercial mechanical work, a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work evenings and weekends. Join our maintenance team to help keep the thrills running.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2-4 years of related experience in commercial mechanical work; small engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and welding are helpful.
• Must have a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on rides; report issues and perform repairs.
• Work from blueprints or drawings using hand and power tools; perform standard shop computations.
• Select materials and lubricate rides as needed.
• Fuel vehicles and trains; handle propane tanks safely.
• Maintain safety standards and provide guest service as needed.
