Job summary

Worlds of Fun LLC is seeking a Ride Mechanic to maintain park rides and related mechanical equipment in a full-time/union role. You will inspect, repair, and lubricate rides, assist with fueling trains, and ensure safety standards across the maintenance team.

The position requires 21+ years of age, a high school diploma or GED, 2-4 years of related mechanical experience, and a valid driver's license. Expect evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a dynamic theme park environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 21.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-4 Years Related Experience Commercial Mechanical experience.
• Must have Valid Drivers License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for safe operation.
• Perform mechanical work using hand and power tools; read blueprints/drawings.
• Lubricate park rides and maintain equipment.
• Fuels vehicles and train components as needed.
• Log safety checks and repairs.
• Support by responding to Mechanical Lead, Foreman, or General Foreman.
