Job summary

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is seeking an experienced ride mechanic to maintain, erect, repair, and troubleshoot rides and attractions in accordance with Manufacturer and Engineering specifications to ensure safe and efficient operation.

You will perform visual inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex overhauls, working with a team in a fast-paced theme park environment, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts, while safely operating park vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience, team-focused.
• Must have tools and equipment to perform duties.
• Proficient in multiple trades: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, automotive, welding/fabrication, and small engine repair.
• Must work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to troubleshoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of guests and coworkers.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate forklifts, golf carts, cars, and trucks.
