Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of related experience in industrial maintenance, millwright work, amusement ride maintenance, manufacturing, heavy equipment, or a similar mechanical maintenance environment.
• Demonstrated experience with equipment installation, machinery alignment, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial mechanical systems.
• Must have tools and equipment necessary to perform required duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, erect, repair, align, install, and troubleshoot rides, attractions, and mechanical systems per manufacturer and engineering specs.
• Apply industrial maintenance and millwright principles to install, align, inspect, repair, and maintain rotating equipment, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, drives.
• Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure safe operation and notify management of hazards or issues.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using established troubleshooting techniques.
• Maintain OSHA safety standards, ride manufacturer requirements, and Six Flags safety policies.
• Conduct winterization, offseason maintenance, equipment overhauls, and major refurbishment on ride units.
• Perform precision alignment, rigging, fabrication, welding, assembly, and component replacement as required.
• Ensure rides meet safety and aesthetic standards and are clean and compliant with specs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, work orders, and documentation daily.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
