Job summary

Merlin Entertainments in Orlando, FL seeks an Engineering Supervisor to oversee ride, facilities, and safety-focused maintenance. You will manage preventative maintenance, inspections, parts requests, and coordination with contractors to minimize downtime and ensure high-quality visitor experiences.

You’ll ensure documentation compliance, oversee budgets, and lead a maintenance team while collaborating with the Engineering Manager and site counterparts across Merlin sites.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical training recognized; ample hands-on experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ride controls and systems are in good working order and liaise with contractors.
• Complete daily checks, start-up/close procedures, and monthly preventative maintenance.
• Manage ride downtime and coordinate safety inspections and documentation.
