Job summary

Six Flags Great America is seeking a qualified Electrician in Kenosha, Wisconsin to repair, install and maintain electrical systems for rides and facilities. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot wiring, lighting, and controls and perform preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include updating schematics, assisting in component selection, and supporting park operations. A trade-school certification or equivalent is required, with a valid driver’s license and ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with trade-school certification or currently enrolled in a trade program.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems on rides and equipment.
• Ability to read schematic wiring diagrams.
• Must provide hand tools and be able to work at various heights.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to work varied shifts (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Repair, install and troubleshoot electrical wiring systems, controls, lighting fixtures, kitchen equipment, heating systems, power stations, vehicles and ride equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical apparatus.
• Install or modify electrical systems and components.
• Update drawings and schematic diagrams and assist in the selection of electrical components and material.
• Assist with Park Operation responsibilities as needed.
