Job summary

Walt Disney Imagineering is seeking a Ride Development Engineering Intern in Orlando, FL to learn through hands-on experience across ride system development, prototyping, simulation and testing. You will work with experts in multiple engineering disciplines on projects from concept to detailed design.

The program emphasizes learning, CAD work, mechanical analysis, and collaboration across teams within Imagineering. Housing opportunities may be available for Florida-based interns.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechatronics or related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• Have unrestricted work authorization and not completed one year of Disney internship or program.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an engineering team involved in ride system development, prototyping, simulation, or testing for a specific attraction or development project.
• Provide mechanical analysis of components and systems.
• Assist in the design of mechanisms and machines.
• Perform CAD model manipulation and creation!
• Provide ride system interface information to other groups within Imagineering.
