Job summary
The Walt Disney Imagineering invites you to join the Ride Control Engineering Intern program in Orlando for Jan 2027 to Jun 2027. This paid internship provides hands-on experience in ride control systems, prototyping, testing, and collaboration with world-class engineers.
Interns work in the Ride Engineering Studio on projects across controls and mechanical domains, with mentorship and CAD/documentation tasks. Undergraduate interns earn $31/hour; graduate students earn $36/hour.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
Responsibilities
- Be part of an engineering team involved in ride control system development, prototyping, simulation, or testing for a specific attraction or development project
- Design, model, and/or analyze electrical, electronic, and data communication systems
- Join a project or development team, partnered with a leader who will be your mentor
