Job summary

Modesto City Schools is seeking a qualified interpreter for the deaf to support school-age students. The role requires two years of relevant experience and a high school diploma (or GED/CHSPE), plus RID certification or equivalent credentials.

The incumbent may pursue additional waivers and must complete required certifications per the collective bargaining agreement. Hiring incentives include multiple signing and service-based bonuses, with employment contingent on meeting ongoing certification

Qualifications

• Two years' experience working with school-age students.
• High School Diploma, GED, or CHSPE required.
• RID certification or equivalent interpretation credentials required.
