Job summary

Foster Blue Water Oil LLC is seeking a full-time afternoon shift Fuel/Propane Driver at our Richmond location. A Class A or B CDL is required, HazMat endorsement and air brakes are preferred.

You will load and distribute fuel/propane to customers, ensuring on-time deliveries and excellent service. Responsibilities include safe driving, DOT/Safety compliance, maintaining logs and paperwork, and coordinating with Operations for schedules.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record; must pass drug testing.
• HazMat and DOT certifications preferred or in progress.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• Familiar with state and federal transportation laws.

Responsibilities

• Deliver correct products and quantities on-time with courteous customer service.
• Follow safety programs and DOT/HazMat requirements.
• Address driver issues promptly with the Supervisor.
• Maintain logs, invoices and paperwork per company procedures.
• Adhere to lifting codes and state destinations as needed.
• Understand applicable state and federal laws and operate safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Director.

Foster Blue Water Oil is seeking a full-time afternoon shift Fuel/Propane Driver with a Class A or B CDL, preferably with a HazMat Endorsement and air brakes, for our Richmond location. The driver is responsible for safely loading fuel/propane trucks and distributing products to customers. Our goal is to serve our customers courteously, promptly, and efficiently with dedicated employees!

Position Requirements:

• Clean driving record; must be able to pass drug testing.

Position Responsibilities and Needed Skills:

• Works with Operations to ensure schedules allow for on-time deliveries and excellent customer service by delivering the correct products and quantities.
• Responsible for following the safety programs, including HazMat and DOT certifications.
• Must address drivers' problems when they arise in a timely and professional manner with the Supervisor.
• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with customers, drivers, and other employees.
• Maintain all required driver's logs, invoices, and additional paperwork to ensure effective company processes and operating procedures.
• Must make use of the proper lifting codes and state destinations when needed.
• Understand applicable state and federal laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Director, as needed.
• Must be a team player with a willingness to learn.
